Fiona O’Donnell


Fiona is a Latrobe Valley local who has spent the last 23 years working in Community and Social welfare in both Melbourne and the Valley. During that time Fiona has worked in Child Protection, various adolescent support roles, with families and children who have experienced Family Violence, training Crisis telephone responders at Lifeline Gippsland and currently teaching Community Services at TAFE Gippsland and Mother Contact within the Caring Dads program at Anglicare Victoria.

Fiona has been delivering suicide prevention programs for several years and has also volunteered her time as a crisis support worker at Lifeline.

Fiona holds a Masters degree in Education where her research focused on grief and trauma in educational settings. Fiona also has post graduate qualifications in training and assessment, grief and bereavement and critical incident stress management.

Fiona balances her passion for community services work with her husband, three young children and her other passion of running. Fiona loves to work with people who are seeking to better their knowledge and looks forward to engaging with likeminded professionals.
